Sea-Alp has designed and manufactured the Winding Plant for the two magnetic coils inside the vacuum vessel (VV) of ASDEX Upgrade (AUG). This plant includes the equipment for unspooling the TIC conductor (round section, Ø26mm) outside the Vacuum Vessel and winding the AUG DivIIo coils inside, as well as the equipment for the formation of the Vessel terminations and the lifting of the coils inside the Vacuum Vessel.
